Frequently asked questions
How does pricing work?
You buy credits and each API call consumes a small number of credits depending on the endpoint — item detail costs less than image search, for example. Credits never expire, there is no monthly subscription, and every new account gets free credits to test with.
Is the data real-time or cached?
Product data is fetched in real time at request moment. We do not serve stale cached snapshots — the price, stock and promotion you get back is what a buyer sees at that second.
How do I authenticate my requests?
Every request carries your API key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. You can create, rotate and revoke keys from the dashboard at any time.
What happens if a request fails?
Failed requests (non-2xx from the source platform) are not charged. Every response includes a success flag and a machine-readable error code so your integration can retry safely.
Are there rate limits?
Yes — limits scale with your plan, from 1 request/second on the free tier up to custom limits for enterprise. If you exceed the limit you receive HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header; requests rejected by the rate limiter are never charged.
